Pick up lines. Pick up lines have been around for centuries. Believed to be used to woo an individual into going out, in a smooth, cool way. Yet, in reality, to most, it’s the weirdest and creepiest thing ever. I believe it’s because the common people don’t know how to do it.

The dictionary definition of a pick up line is a planned effort (which usually doesn’t work) to start a conversation with a stranger in a romantic pursuit. Which is pretty darn accurate, they don’t work… or do they? Surprisingly they do. It sparks up conversation if they are executed the right way. What do you need for the perfect pick up line? Need help with that confidence? Need some non-creepy compliments? Now that you know the three C’s, we can talk about how to execute your plan. Let’s be honest, some of us are so single we will say anything. Be careful! Even if you are in a relationship and want to keep that spark going, or start a fame altogether, be wise to your game! This is a guide on how to use pick up lines the correct way, even though using one is the wrong way already. Sometimes they work! Back to the plan, be confident, it’s time to find the right pick up line, one not too cheesy or too commonly used.

Now that we have our lines picked out we need to talk about our intentions. If you don’t have the right intentions this could be detrimental. Some questions you need to ask yourself before pursuing:

It’s game time! Valentine’s Day is here! Nobody wants to be alone right? But what makes it different from all the other times of year when you are alone? I will tell you! This is the opportune moment for all those individuals too scared to try asking someone on a date, including myself, so let’s set our standards to the ground, pick any one that will take us, get our hopes up way too much, and let’s do this! Who’s with me?! This year put yourself out there,  if they don’t like you back you just dodged a bullet. Now you can get back to your regular life, and if they do like you back congrats and you’re welcome. Pick up lines are bad, but sometimes they are so bad they are good, and who knows maybe it is the one thing that helps you.
