The Garnet & Gold Gazette was founded in January 2021. 

Brunswick High School has had journalism in the past but this is Brunswick’s first online newspaper.

Each reporter, editor, and what we call “engineers” are part of the newspaper staff—the Brunswick News Station—this includes quite a few eager writers in our Journalism Club and a few reporters that have started to grow the program in Journalism 1-4.  The monthly editions are published in a semester each year for the community to enjoy.

The Garnet and Gold Staff earned a distinguished SNO site award in 2023, 2024, and 2025 for all their hard work: reporting, writing, and design! The engineers continue to share their writing and love for creating as BHS Media travels, one track after another!
