Rowan Williams, an upcoming Brunswick High School (BHS) senior, shares his high school career and experiences.
“BHS is a wonderful school, the learning environment is really engaging and inclusive. To anyone wanting to find something to do, I would highly recommend joining one of sports teams, track, soccer, basketball, baseball, etc. During my time on the track team, I’ve gained new friends, and had experiences that are completely worthwhile,” Williams said.
Williams also shares details as well as his experiences in the Fellowship Of Christian Athletes (FCA).
“I’m in the FCA club, a very fun and interactive club,” Williams said. “We learn how to pray, talk to fellow Christians, and overall just have fun. After we do what we usually do, we go outside and play a list of sports, whether it be soccer, basketball, etc. and just have fun overall. So if you’re looking for a fun club, definitely join the FCA.”
Williams also wanted to share some advice to the upcoming freshman, as well as the current Brunswick High School underclassmen, highlighting the importance of respect, and integrity.
“It’s important to keep out of trouble, and not do anything stupid,” Williams said. “Focus on school, keep your grades up, and just overall be respectful to your peers, and teachers. Don’t cheat on your homework, otherwise you’ll definitely regret it when your exam comes up.”
Williams also wanted to share some of his future plans after graduating from Brunswick High School.
“After graduating from Brunswick High School, I plan on going to college at Frostburg or Salisbury to major in Fish and Wildlife Management to be a game warden, or going into auto mechanics, as I enjoy working on cars as a pass time,” Williams said.
Williams can be seen walking around the halls of Brunswick High School with his friends, teammates, and fellow classmates.
