Brunwsick High School's Career 3 Pointer Record Has Finally Been Broken!

Yet, another Brunswick school record was broken this season! Monday, 2/6/23, Brunswick senior basketball player Cassidy Rhodes broke the school record for career 3-pointers.
The record of 136 career 3 point makes was previously held by Julie Foltz. This is a huge accomplishment for Rhodes — this record hasn’t been broken for 26 years!
Not only was a record broken but, the Lady Roaders took home the victory against Boonsboro 59-37. Cassidy finished this game with 23 points, four steals and four assists. In the third quarter, Rhodes sank her record breaking 3.
Cassidy has been playing basketball for 9 years, playing for school and AAU. Cassidy remarks, “I have always wanted to have an accomplishment like this. It is so great to see my hard work paying off.” She gives credit to her coaches and family, for always pushing her to work hard and be her best self.
Cassidy will be continuing her journey playing Division 2 basketball at Alderson Broaddus University this fall. Cassidy Rhodes has a long path to success ahead of her, with her drive and determination this is the first of many records she will break.
