This event begins at the coroner of South Carroll and East Patrick Street, ending at Bakers Park (Downtown Frederick 121 N. Bentz St. Frederick, MD 21701). Following the procession to Bakers Park will bring you to a closing ceremony that includes the lighting of the city’s Christmas tree, Christmas carols and special messages from the Snow Queen and Kris Kringle himself. With free admission, this is not an event you’d want to miss out on! (Begins at 6:30 PM.)
- Candlelight on The Creek: Downtown Frederick
With free admission this event is not one to miss! This event is located at Carroll Creek Park, 50 Carroll Creek Way Frederick, MD 21701. Join the community from 9:00 PM to 12:00 AM on Dec. 31st as light is shed into Sailing Through The Winter Solstice. With many restaurants surrounding the area, this is a perfect opportunity to grab a bite to eat with friends or family. The night ends with Civitan Club of Frederick taking over for the Key Drop to celebrate the upcoming New Year!
- Visit with Santa!: Urban Air
With the price of a general admission ticket to urban air you can have the opportunity to enjoy more than just the basics. From 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM on December 8th 2024, you can enjoy Santa posing for photos and singing carols all while also bouncing, soaring, and jumping inside of the Urban Air’s trampoline park.
