Guess what these 35 + students did on Election Day?! Yes, their day off! They came to our Sweet Run State Park Adventure Race with teams covering anywhere from 5-8 miles and over 100 foot elevation gain! Our winning team, Ghost Riders, with Jeremy Bel, Jared Monge, and Eli Miller secured a free/paid entry, by the race organization Broad Run Off Road to the 15 hour race in April of next year. This team cleared the course, then two of them ran it a second time to collect the flags and continued on the AT trail to Harpers Ferry, where they road their bikes to Brunswick… yes that is a 25 + mile day. Huge shout out to all of these amazing kids and all of their hard work!
