What does being on the staff of the Garnet and Gold Gazette mean to you?
Being a part of the Gazette allowed me to explore new horizons and try something a little out of my comfort zone. It provided me will new opportunities to represent the school while still expressing my interests.
How has being on the staff impacted you?
Due to the loose, yet firm restrictions, it guided me in a way that remained formal while maintaining the topic and media type, of my choice.
What advice do you have for upcoming journalism students?
If I were to give advice, it would be to have fun and make sure you make media based on your interests. You never know, maybe doing a silly podcast that was just for fun could win Best of SNO.
Favorite high school memory?
My favorite high school memory is being a starter on the best wrestling team that has played at Brunswick; ranking top 10 in the state.
What are your plans after high school?
My plan after high school is to attend West Virginia University to pursue a dual degree in aerospace and mechanical engineering.
