The Garnet and Gold Gazette does a Faces of BHS post each week to highlight an amazing student, who has contributed to Brunswick High School and displayed qualities of leadership and is a hard-working student. This week the Gazette wants to highlight Brady Renn, a senior.
Brady Renn is a well-known name in the Brunswick community as he is the BHS varsity football quarterback. He has carried the team showing leadership qualities as he has been playing on the team since freshman year. Quinn Nugent, a senior, who has played alongside Renn on the football team for the past four years has said “He [Renn] has grown into the quarterback role, and he is a great person to be around. Renn has always been a supportive and reliable teammate and friend”. Additionally, outside of football Renn is on the BHS boy’s varsity basketball team. Renn plays as small forward and continues to pave the way for BHS sports.
Outside of sports, Renn is a leader within the school. He is an honors student and is a mentor in the guidance office helping Mrs. Wilton. Renn is also involved with the BHS student government where he is on the spirit committee. He has helped plan the pep rally and served as a liaison between the student government and the football/basketball team.
All of her experiences in a diverse group of clubs and community involvement, have made her an excellent candidate for Faces of BHS. She truly embodies what a Railroader should look like and shows a great future for BHS.
