What does being on the staff of The Garnet and Gold Gazette mean to you?
It gives me an opportunity to write freely on subjects that I’m interested in while impacting my community and school with my articles.
How has being on the staff impacted you?
Writing for the BHS Gazette has improved my writing skills for articles and structuring essays. While being on the staff it has helped me with problem solving skills and time management when trying to interview or publish a story on time.
What advice do you have for upcoming journalism students?
Find a subject you enjoy writing for but don’t be afraid to reach out and adventure into different topics, sometimes it can introduce you to something you love.
Favorite high school memory?
My favorite high school memory is the time I spent with my friends during this band season. I had an amazing senior year as band captain from the start till we performed our last show.
What are your plans after high school?
While continuing my business Green Acre’s Suds I plan to attend FCC for two years then transfer to a 4 year college to further my degree in veterinary medicine.
