Not just a woman
A woman with two disabilities
That no one takes seriously
One learning,
It makes it hard to focus
It makes it easy to hyperfixate
I need extra help
The other sensory
It makes it hard to handle… loud
It makes it easy to have overloads
I need extra help
“You’re overexaggerating”
“Sounds like an excuse”
I heard from a teacher.
Loud peers
Point at me when I shake
Mock me when I cover my ears
Why can’t people be
Kind
Compassionate
Or perhaps mind their own?
