How do you think having Gardner on the coaching staff affected the teams outcome this year?

“It was very similar to having Yoho as a coach, he was very laid back but made everyone work on their weak points of their game. Gardner wanted to win and was big on everyone doing well. Even though we didn't make it to states, it was a really good year and the underclassmen matured a lot under Gardner's coaching. I loved having Gardner as the coach this year and it was a blast being able to play for him for my senior year.”

Gardner And BSU

How has Mr. Gardner impacted you in BSU?

"Mr. Gardner has been an inspiration to the Club of Black Student Union. This club prioritizes the African American ethnicity and has allowed us to get together to converse about things in African American culture. Gardner heavily contributes to the progression of the club with new activities to do and fun ways to make the 30 minutes we have in the club enjoyable."

How has your experience of having Mr. Gardner as a teacher been?

“I thought he was pretty chill, but I didn’t know what to think at first. Now, I appreciate him very much. I love how he thinks of his students as his family, and I think it’s nice how he connects with his students. He’s authentic. I enjoyed engaging in his lessons. I went to school some days just to go to fourth period.”
