Join the Brunswick Volunteer Ambulance and Rescue (BVAR) on an annual Jolly Jingle Celebration, a magical event of the winter season!
Hosted on Saturday, the 14th of December, gather your loved ones to indulge in a delicious breakfast and mingle with the red man himself—Santa Claus.
The BVAR holds this event every year around this time—allowing for yearly memories to be made. This tradition is a perfect way to indulge in the holiday spirit. So don’t forget to mark this event on your calendars and join us for a morning of festive fun that you are bound to enjoy!
The breakfast is held on the upper level of the BVAR, the cost of it being $15 for those 11 years old and older, $7 for ages 6 through 10, and free for ages 5 and under.
The breakfast also includes foods like pancakes, French toast, bacon, scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, biscuits and more! Breakfast starts at 6:00 AM and ends at 11:00 AM, providing a while for you, your family, and friends to enjoy. “The food is so good, it’s some of the best food I eat in the morning… even if I’m the one making it…” —Jake Holdridge, Volunteer at the BVAR.
On the lower floor, Santa and Mrs. Claus arrive at 7:00 AM, ready to meet each and every family and take pictures with everyone as well. Each picture costs $5 and if you’re on the nice list Santa might just give you a bell! At this point this would be an excellent time to tell Santa what you would like for Christmas as he will be right there and listening.
There is also a raffle that is hosted, the prize being that of a home visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus. Each ticket costs $1 and the tickets will be drawn December 14th. The only catch is that the winner must be within a 20 mile radius of Brunswick. The visit is a 30 minute visit that is at 4:00 PM. Call Joan at 240-315-2958 for more information and to buy tickets.
Stop by, fill your bellies, and say hi to Santa while you enjoy the morning with your family.
Don’t make any plans on the 14th of December so you can come down and after you leave you can spend time with your loved ones without an interruption such as needing to meet other people, or for the chance of getting Santa to visit your house personally. “It’ll be a great time, come on down, we’d love to have you!” Andrew Davis, Volunteer at the BVAR.
