“I wanted to write for the Garnet & Gold Gazette because I noticed that [the paper] lacked writers, so I decided to step up and write about our volleyball program. I specifically chose this event because it brought awareness to breast cancer and put a spotlight on a cause that’s important to me. I will continue to write for the school newspaper because I love contributing to our school community through the use of journalism.”
