  3. Visit the zoo—check out a day of fun, there are a variety of animals such as penguins, ostrich, bats, and so much more. you can pack a lunch or buy one.

  5. We all scream for ice cream—visit some of our local creamery’s. Rocky Point Creamery, Little Red Barn, and South Mountain Creamery offer a variety of ice cream flavors and fresh produce such as meat, eggs, cheese, and more.
  6. Take a hike—a variety of trails throughout MD offer a time in nature.
  7. Make some popsicles—make some homemade popsicles all year long, here are some recipes for flavorful popsicles.
  8. Cast a lure—Pack a lunch and go out fishing for a day. Once you have your fishing license there are a variety of fishing holes throughout Frederick for a day of relaxing.
