Brunswick is one of the top locations to enjoy ice cream.
The rural land accompanied the hundreds of local farms makes for the best homemade food.
However with hundreds of locations, how would one know where to go to not only get the best ice cream but to also get the best experience.
Rocky Point Creamery, located at 4323 Tuscarora Rd, Tuscarora, MD, is one of the most famous ice cream shops near Brunswick.
Kim Woodson, manager of Rocky Point creamery has led the staff for 10 years.
Rocky Points’ ice cream is “…family oriented, cow to cone operation, milk from the farm, freshly made ice cream,” Woodson said.
Famous for their many seasonal flavors, whenever one decides to go there will always be an unexpected yet delicious flavor waiting.
The most well know summer flavor is crabby cow, which is a specialty in Maryland, described as an “Old Bay base with caramel hand-mixed in,” Woodson said.
Other popular flavors include a classic cherry vanilla, smores, pumpkin, caramoo, and Christmas tree cake.
No matter what your preference is it is guaranteed to be met with a variety of choices.

Whether alone or with family Rocky Point has the best experience for all.
This includes a playground for kids, a fun cow bench great for picture located out front of the store, and a sunflower field where anyone can cut their own flowers and take amazing photos in late summer early fall.
Emily Snyder, a family member of the owners of Rocky Point Creamery mentions how rich the ice cream truly is for customers and how the Creamery is a family affair.
“In addition to being one of the only cow to cone operation, we offer a super premium product. That means our ice cream is at least 14% butterfat, which is why our ice cream is so rich, creamy, smooth and will never hurt your mouth or cause brain freeze,” Snyder said. “We are also very family friendly and have a super unique playground made from repurposed farm equipment.”
