Brunswick High School (BHS) is full of smart and talented students, and senior Isabella (Izzy) Brisbane is one of them. She is a talented athlete and straight-A student. Izzy is involved in several activities and takes leadership roles.
“I am apart of National Honors Society, National English Honors Society, and I am the vice president of our senior class as well as vice president of the NEHS,” said Brisbane.

Izzy helps out at BHS in many ways, showing her dedication through leadership and involvement. She also works hard to organize events and represent her classmates. In addition, Izzy is a great teammate on the varsity volleyball team.
Izzy is a dedicated volleyball player, playing for both the school and a club team.
“I play high school volleyball and club volleyball as a Libero/DS,” Brisbane said.
She’s also planning to continue her education at Saint Vincent College where she will continue to play volleyball.
Some fun facts about Izzy, she shared that she transferred to Brunswick in seventh grade, quickly embracing the new school.
“I just love the community and environment,” Brisbane said.
She’s very friendly and strives to make others feel comfortable inside and outside of school. She shared a moment that shaped her at BHS.
“Sophomore year of high school when my Mom was in the hospital,” Brisbane said.
Despite this hardship, she continued to go to school, play volleyball, and be there for her friends and community.
When asked what she loves most, she continued on how important family is to her.
“I love my family most in the world. I would never be where I am without my Mom, Dad, and sister. They are the best role models and they are my rocks,” Brisbane said.
Izzy enjoys playing volleyball, reading, and hanging out with friends. She also enjoy being active; she is a great example of how you can do well in school, sports, and helping others, even when life gives you obstacles.
