As winter comes to an end with snow disappearing and flowers slowly starting to bloom, spring comes in the next room. And even if spring is nature being re-born, there are things that act like a thorn…
- Starting with the very obvious: allergies!
- People expect some people to go picking flowers and girls to start wearing spring dresses. But some don’t want to wear dresses, some want to wear shorts!
- The heat. The average spring temperature warmed by 2.2 degrees Fahrenheit from 1970 to 2023 across 230 U.S. cities.
- Everyone expects people to go out but some want to be a homebody.
- Bugs are everywhere! Flies, ants, bees, mosquitoes, cicadas, roaches, etc. Yuck!
- There’s too many people outside especially if you don’t go out often. Just going for a walk is a crowd.
- People mow their lawn, more allergies, but also it’s annoying if you’re trying to sleep in.
- During Daylight Savings, the time goes fast, and it’s hard to tell if you should sleep for an hour later or an hour earlier. Spring forward—losing that hour can cause more harm than good!
- Easter is becoming the next Christmas due to overconsumption in America.
- Rain causes events to be cancelled or postponed too! Spring sports schedules are rough!
