What does being on the staff of the Garnet and Gold Gazette mean to you?
As someone who loves to write creatively, being on the staff for the Gazette has shown me how to express my writing in more informational ways that I have had no previous experience in.
How has being on the staff impacted you?
Being on the staff has led me to find friends, explore my community deeper, and learn how to write unique articles and film videos that capture the attention of our audience.
What advice do you have for upcoming journalism students?
Journalism is more than writing. Taking pictures, videoing, scheduling events, drawing artwork; there is something for everybody in journalism.
Favorite high school memory?
Hitting a penalty kick in the soccer state championship.
What are your plans after high school?
I plan to attend the University of Maryland College Park with my friends, and I hope to one day be a lawyer or a college professor. My dream job, though, would be becoming a novelist or a screenplay writer in Hollywood.
