“I started school [college] to become a physical therapist, but I spent a summer teaching at a facility near where I was in college and fell in with teaching. So I changed my major, and never looked back ever since. I love watching the moment when the student finally understands something or connects with something I know is going to help them in the future. Watching the moments on the kids’ faces, watching them slow and steady progress and being able to see the impact you have on someone’s life. Computer Science is a passion of mine, and robotics is an amazing way to take a look at making computer science very tangible, very hands on.”
